Multiple Projects Repository
SourceShare™ provides a uniform interface to
multiple project repositories. Hence, several projects in a company can browse,
view, search, and modify each other's projects. Any authorized user can fill out
a simple web-based form and create a new project with a click of a button. Several
attributes are managed with each project, some given at the project creation time,
while others can be added as the project moves along. Projects can be Internal-visible
only within the company, Extended-visible to selected parties (internal or external),
and External-visible to anyone on the Internet.
Mailing Lists
SourceShare™ automates all tasks associated with creating, maintaining,
and running mailing lists with software projects. The mailing lists are automatically
archived. Hence, anyone with the proper authority can quickly come up to speed
on the inner workings of a project.
Version Control
SourceShare™ maintains all your source code in a version control system.
Anyone with the right permissions can browse or search the source code with an
intuitive, simple web-based interface. The web interface allows you to browse
the history, change logs, and colored version differences.
Issue Tracking
SourceShare™ provides an issue tracking system that manages the workflow
of all your user and developer requests, e.g., bugs, features, and patches.
Documents Management
Each project in SourceShare™ can maintain documents
associated with their project, and access them from any Web browser.
Wiki Webs
Each project in
SourceShare™ can create multiple Wiki webs to facilitate
better group communication.
Existing Tools & Process Integration
SourceShare™ will not disrupt the existing processes and tools in your
organization. It simply increases the visibility of information from those tools,
and potential process participants, by orders of magnitude.
